[ @ evening 97. as soon as the eye closes zenith dumps fantasia's body into the fountain. it takes a few minutes, but eventually his soul returns from its daycation in turbo hell, and fantasia snaps upright with a gasp. his hand flies to his chest, tangling in the soggy fabric as he starts to hyperventilate. tears stream down his face as he instantly falls apart, the weight of what he's been made to experience over and over and over and over breaking him. ]

[ Zenith is keeping both a vigilant watch over Kaveh's body as well as the status of the fountain, so the second that eye closes he's already over there (with Tempo), placing his body in the fountain. And once he wakes up he's drawing him immediately into an embrace. He doesn't know what it feels like when the eye is open, but he's heard enough first-hand accounts to have an idea of what it must have been like. ]

[over here, somewhere out of the way, Nue and Hannya are in deep discussion about something. It's probably serious, but it's hard to tell because one of them always looks serious.

They seem to come to an agreement on something and -

Nue suddenly reaches out, grabs Hannya, and throws him straight up into the air.

[You're standing in a massive underground chamber.

The ceiling is so high above it's shrouded in shadow, speckled with pinpricks of light that resemble stars.

The floor is black marble tile set with fine inlays of gold, polished so smooth it looks like the surface of a dark lake.

In front of you, at the end of the chamber, is the biggest goddamned stone statue you've ever seen. It's a dragon sitting on an enormous dais, staring down its nose at you with eyes of flickering torchfire. His wings extend to either side, wrapping forward to form the walls of the chamber. You stand in his holy embrace.]

[At the feet of the stone statue is a throne (empty), and on the stairs leading up to it is a large heap of black scales and red spines. If you listen, you can hear the labored breathing of the figure laying there, and the occasional soft whimpers it makes when it tries to move.]
