WHEN: Day 90, late afternoon

[At some point when they day is starting to cool off, a chunk of Daffodil's roof will be suddenly consumed by plush pillows, thick knit blankets, futon cushions, and possibly some corduroy stuffed animals. All of it smells gently like fresh grass, leaves, or woods. Where is the culprit?]

[sometimes emotions do a thing (happy>yearning>emptymissing⟿⛆⛆⛆;;;) and no one knows why. becomes a hat on a pile of watchful (sniffly) pillows.]

[... relaxing in the pillow pile... maybe to wait for Tart's ears to stop showing alert? Does even turn to look at the sky instead for a while, though it doesn't last, eyes drawn back to Tart eventually. Wonders if Tart remembers the warning he issued to him a bit ago...]

[ his ears flicker occasionally—particularly to the distant ambient noises of quiet life in the pasture—and they don't seem to ever fully relax . . . but occasionally rubato does get to see little twitches from tart, erratic micromovements in his fingers and tail. slight pinches in his brow, movement under his eyelids . . . ]

[fufufu... well, he thinks he would probably be surprised if tart remembered, and more surprised still if this had anything to do with that. but aah, slipping into a doze or a dream here in front of him certainly isn't saying nothing, even if he can't tell if it's anything he can bring with him later. It isn't that he'd never been this close before, but the last time was while washing machines hummed and the scent of detergent hid his approach...]
