SUMMER OFFERINGS
What: SHEEP
Where: THE FOUNTAIN/PASTURE
When: During the ritual!!
[you may notice while you're playing around, that a bunch of pasture sheep are carrying little knicknacks to the fountain or possibly just leaving them at your door, whatever's more convenient. So you know what that means!!
It's time for offerings to their beloved flocks!!
Feel free to use this as a gen mingle for the game or if you're not participating in that this can be a normal post for you!]

Oh, right. Seeing the gifts here reminded me of one I received some time back and had tucked away.
[He pulls out a red cat-eared headband and sets it on Crescendo's head.]

[He adjusts them on his head though. Naturally, it isn't the real thing. He won't make a habit of wearing them or anything. But the gesture is sweet.]
Do you not wish to keep it? [A tease.] I am sure you would make a very fetching cat.

I thought you might appreciate it.

[ . . . A little embarrassed.]
You know, this silly little thing is what I ultimately asked Miss Daisy about.

Everyone keeps commenting on it. And I just feel embarrassed and a little strange regarding it all.
I do not even want them for when I return home. If I returned home with actual cat ears, I am sure that I would become the center of attention within the scientific community. And if we go home properly through the lessening of bonds, I cannot use my wish for something as goofy as ridding myself of a cosmetic gift. There are many wishes that I would like to have granted. The ability to traverse words, proper magic and the like. But as much as I would like those, I will use whatever wish I am granted to heal my father's disease. That is the only real option I have.
[He sighs.]
It would feel so entirely silly to make a deal with a demon for ears and a tail though. And also a bit of a waste. Not only would everyone laugh at me, including Tart-senpai and Biscuit-san. But even the sheep would weigh in!
[He holds up the silly yarn ball and note that he received.]

In any case, do you think when we're sent back we actually bring along any powers or whatnot that we gained in this place?

... At the same time, I did not lose the ability to change into a merman? So I wonder if native powers, spells, and abilities are longer lasting than those that are foreign.

If the fountain is to be believed.

After we infused a sort of cloud-like mist inside with positive wishes, everything but that particular building vanished. It is all covered by Sunflowers now. It appears... that the mist is still somewhat present, but it is not confusing or difficult to navigate once there. I do not think it can touch that building, either. The inside seems like new, and it is surrounded by bushes that appear to be cut into the shape of deer. It is cozy and comfortable.

If you would like to explore it, I could go with you sometime though.
