MASQUERADE BAAA-LL
WHO: ????
WHERE: the three-stories tall jack-o-lantern that was definitely not there last time you looked
WHEN: Evening 87
[Wondering where your sheep went? Why, they all seem to be wandering off toward a once-vacant part of the pasture where an enormous pumpkin the size of a building is now squatting amongst a patch of colorful and airy wildflowers. Filigreed windows have been cut into its walls, letting the light and music from inside drift out into the evening air, where drifts of sparkling fireflies are dancing over the grass. ]
[The entryway is large enough you can stroll right in, even if you’re, say, a really big chimera. ]
[Inside the pumpkin, instead of the wet, slimy squash interior you might have expected, it’s been retrofitted into what looks like a ballroom straight from the fairy kingdom. Flower garlands and fancy candelabras decorate every rafter and banister like a watercolor wash of color and light, while a variety of strange and interesting mushrooms peek out of corners and cracks (for eel enrichment.) There’s a rustic, whimsical wooden stage where a small orchestra of sheep are doing their very best, overlooking a nice open floor for dancing, and a large buffet table covered in food and drinks.]
[ In the place of honor where absolutely everyone can see, there is a big, empty bird’s nest absolutely fit for a KING. Or rather, a gryphon’s nest, because the glaringly gold VIP sign in front of it says very clearly it is “FOR MUFFIN.” ]
[Bring your finest clothes or let Vera pick some for you. Until the clock strikes midnight, it’s time for a ball!]

What do you mean, "different?"

Perhaps it is just the different style of clothes.

I did not even realize I spoke a particular way.
[He was so sure that his appearance was drastic enough to be safe.]
Please do not tell anyone.

Of course, I still think Japanese sweets are... fantasutikku. But, in general since I am an aidoru I must watch the foods that I put into mai tamii.
