So, I was asked by Belle what happened once I disappeared. I was summoned to Lily. And tortured. Not to death, technically, but it sure felt like death.

--That's the short version. The longer version involves my past, if anyone wants to listen, I may as well put it all out there.

I've said it before, but...

I am a video game character.

--I don't meant I'm just from a video game setting and I'm here now. I mean I was a sentient being that was also a video game character. Specifically. This was called a 'dating game.' It's a game told like a novel. The POV is the 'player,' typically male. He is able to make interactive choices, and these choices will alter the story and what type of girl he will start a relationship with. They're meant as escapism, more or less. The feeling of a romance through a vicarious video game.

One day, I became sentient. I don't know why, or how, but one moment I was surrounded by friends, having fun, and the next moment, I was alone. I realized what I thought of as my 'childhood' was just 'backstory,' generalized summations that didn't matter. Moreover, all of my friends... they were automatons. They had no will of their own. They had no personality beyond their specific 'parameters' they'd been coded with. --And I know. I could check the script and see for myself how they would reply and how they would act, at any time. I could even overwrite it and make them say whatever I wanted, with some effort.

If someone looks closely, they'll see she also has a trophy that says 'World's Best Minion' on it.

And, if neither of those are commented on, Your Name will eventually bring out her old-time vintage-style radio the weeds got as a consolation prize the other ritual.]

Violent death with the vines, (cw: suicide), so after his conversation with Azdaja, he'll have quick swapped his outfit on return, checked on everyone, brought Warden in with him and would likely just head to his room after. Catch him around then before he sleeps, or...

Catch him early in the morning, when he's getting things together in the kitchen. Probably making fruit smoothie bowls (with pineapple!) Have them fresh! He's also dressed up and looks like he's ready to head out.
