Eh. I've been banished, socially dead, and had people out to kill me as long as I remember, so I ain't really one to talk.

But you can move on from everythin' other than the dyin'. So it's really up to you.

... Pushing the consequences of your decisions onto someone else is cowardly, isn't it?

...More cowardly than some other stuff, like tellin' 'em to fuck off and burnin' the whole place down, sure. But there ain't nothin' brave about quietly takin' the punishment some other people decided you deserve.

Plus, this world ain't big enough for everyone to go along without runnin' into each other. If ya want somethin' for yerself, sometimes that means takin' it from other people.

Don't lecture me. I've done plenty of taking before. But there's a difference between deciding to take something from someone and deciding to sit back from a safe position. And trying to take from this woman always backfires spectacularly, anyway!

Well, it certainly looked like it. She was breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly talented at everything. Born into a prestigious bloodline. Respected and beloved by everyone around her to a ridiculous extent. Even the crown prince is madly in love with her.

Things always look some kinda way from the outside that ain't true if ya know it from the inside. And she had a weak body, right?

Right. She's practically on the verge of dying half the time. And the reason she's so good at everything is because she pushes herself to train even when she's in horrible pain or delirious with fever.
