Drunk Cards

WHO: Some sheep and you
WHERE: Right in the middle of the pasture
WHEN: Day 83, afternoon

[Two red sheep and one lilac-colored sheep are having a picnic in the shade of a tree. There is a smorgasbord of finger foods laid out over the huge blankets spread over the grass, but even more notable is the frankly unreasonable amount of drinks, both alcoholic and non.]

[They beckon you over as you're passing by.]

"Psst..."
Did you know? Did you know?

There was a demon here just now!

Yeeeeeeeeah...! We ...played a game of *hic* cards! With the drankssssssss...

When we beat him at cards he left all his stuff behind.

Hey! You! Yeah, youuuu! Wanna drink some cards and play some hooch? We got some uuuuuuuuuuh sandwiches too. *hic*

We can't drink this all, so we might as well share.

We got extra cards, too.

*hic*

My best guess is that, with everyone in stasis, maybe the Wolf King's condition wouldn't continue deteriorating. But my question is, if the wolves had already bound the Forever Snake, why did they kidnap Leviathan and torture him to try to find out where it was? They already had him. Did they forget?

Binding Death meant traveling to her domain, right? Maybe they needed someone who could go down there for them, and the Snake was gullible enough to do it. I really couldn't tell you for sure.

...You might be right.

See, that also doesn't make sense. Weeds have truth powers. Why not just use a truth field to force Leviathan or anyone else confess? --My guess was that it was mere pretense and the wolf's sadistic, but maybe it honestly doesn't have the power anymore.

Good point. That is weird.

I wish we could ask Blossom about this, but she'd say, "don't go after him!!"

And if we asked Daisy, she'd say, "that's none of your business."

And Vera would say, "I don't know."

And Coco would say, "yo what???"

Aren't we lucky to be surrounded by so many helpful people who want to see their problems get solved.

Red would say something about how that would cost something to know? Maybe.

Yeah, and then he'd give you some cryptic answer that is impossible to interpret and utterly worthless.

I feel like really we ought to be kidnapping and interrogating wolves.

...Well, we know how to find them, but they really tore up the place last time they came though the pasture.

Yeah, it's catching them that's the hard part, isn't it. Especially one that's capable of speech, instead of just a nightmare monster. And the flock powers don't seem to work in the mist, so we'd have to use other means, or lure them in here. Complicated...

Wait, they don't!? But... huh!?

[that makes her do a double take]

So when we all ran into the mist... you all couldn't do anything with your powers?

Nah, everyone was just using the powers they could already do on their own.

For better or worse, this place is just awash in wizards.

[it's fucked up!!!!]

My weed powers worked fine. Weird. Though, not too weird considering everything else.

...Hm. I can't lead anyone out into the mist anymore now. ...Not that I did it a lot before, anyway.

Fortunately, you're on good terms with the other weeds, right? I'm sure one of them would be willing to help navigate the mist if you asked.
