Maybe prices have inflated. Other people have said that's pretty common... And he gave the impression that picking the foot was better than it could be.

[rubbing his temples. he knows Red can give out bad quests for items-- he has, in fact, seen it firsthand before. but he personally has always gotten reasonable Red requests. . . and all of the ones he has seen Thistle get have been pretty reasonable, too]

I don't know if there's anything "normal" about it, but. . . I'll take that as a good sign.
