He's making coffee in the kitchen when Lupin comes out, because of course he is, it's Lupin]

[Lupin isn't in the bathroom for long; he takes some time to clean up and soak, before exiting nice and fresh and in a brand new outfit. one that isn't marred by days of battle]

[perks up when he smells the coffee, bustling towards the kitchen]

They're still there. I tried my best to take care of them while you were busy.

[genuinely touched to hear that, he wraps his hands around the warm mug and inhales, eyes fluttering shut]

I'll have to grind and roast a whole new batch of beans now that I'm back.
