Re: M optional
and there are SO MANY critters to see! crabs and spiders scuttling about the seafloor, lobsters moving through the nooks and crannies of the reef, seahorses darting around. she might even spot a mythological buddy slithering around, mooing cheerfully.
and EVERY SINGLE CREATURE is so happy to see her! they share her delight, swimming towards her to play and chatter with her ]
Re: M optional
This is really all she needs from life!!! She loves them all SO much. And what the fuck it this cow serpent guy!! It has horns just like hers. Matchies!!!!]
[While she could spend the entire night doing nothing but making mushy faces at crustaceans, oocly I would like to continue exploring, so let us say she eventually makes it to the structure in the distance]
Re: M optional
well she'll enjoy the path because there are PLENTY of dolphins and other fish along the way. but something might start to feel strange after a while. even though the spires had looked new and beautiful from a distance, the structure that begins to come into view seems kind of...in a state of disrepair? as she gets closer ]
Re: M optional
[The structure is in disrepair? That's okay, it's habitat now! Let's go see what built a home in there!]
Re: M optional
but the answer is: nothing. there aren't any friendly sea creatures swimming around here either ]
Re: M optional
[...It's still kind of cool, though. What kind of place is this? Are there any clues about what kind of people lived(?) here, or what it was used for? She might as well do some exploring, since she came all this way.]
Re: M optional
and there's something large just in the shadows of the interior, if she wants to venture in that direction.... ]
Re: M optional
[She's going to stick to shadows and narrow places while she tries to catch a peek at the mystery shadow. What are you? Something cool??]
Re: M optional
it's a throne, large and marble, but ripped apart into huge chunks. someone very big could've sat there once, but not in a long time! does she go to take a closer look? ]
Re: M optional
[we're still keeping our guard up, though. WAY up.]
Re: M optional
no one else seems to be in here. yet. ]
Re: M optional
[A throne means maybe this is... a castle, perhaps? Neat. The previous occupants all seem long gone now, though... Maybe there was a battle here or something.]
[Weird that none of the sea creatures moved in. There must be something here that spoils the water quality or otherwise makes it uninhabitable. That seems like a thing civilization would do.]
[...Ultimately, she cares a lot more about lobsters and worms than this inscrutable chunk of archaeology. She'll swim around a bit more to see if anything of particular note catches her eye, but otherwise she's going to go back out and see if she can find some nudibranchs.]
Re: M optional
either she can swim back towards the coral reef and enjoy the living sea creatures in peace, some distance from this strange destroyed palace,
or she can, perhaps, notice something that'd be of interest to her (a strange trail of dead creatures, perhaps?) that leads her towards more nightmares ]

Re: M optional
go have fun, az
(she will ABSOLUTELY find some friendly whales to swim with. AND every flatworm her heart could possibly desire) ]
