[Odin, unable to sleep, is hanging out on top of the Thistle barn. Which means he sees when a figure exits the forest, and he leans forward a bit to get a better look at who it is.

Then he calls out:]

Oi! Who's stupid enough to go into the forest at night?

[It's dark, ok? He sees a Shephard crook but in the dark at a distance this could be just about any of them except Aides.]

[CALLING BACK WITH FAUX OFFENSE]

I wasn't gone that long. . .!

[He can once he hears that voice.

There's a moment of surprise, and then he jumps off the roof to go half-hug, half-tackle Lupin.]

[he is prepared for it! so he digs his heels into the ground and braces himself, arms wide to catch Odin in that hug-tackle]

[He's hugging him SO tightly.]

[He is absolutely not crying, Odin never cries, but his voice might be cracking a bit.]

I'm sorry! Seriously. . . it was a pretty big job, and it's not even finished yet.

[and yet he is here, because he felt like it was time to come back]

[He just accepts Lupin being here despite the job not being done.]
