Angie is rhyming with himself. The merman had been rhyming with whoever spoke to him. Can he do it the other way?]

I had thought to make something nice for our priest.
It's good to practice with this sort of building, at least.

Another perk of being ours; one's palms getting greased.
After so many hours, I'd thought you'd give her a feast.

But a... shelter? A sunshade? Tell me your intent.
I see the bones of its shape, but not where it will have went.

Perhaps a hammock on which to rest and a roof above her head,
None of which is a replacement for a room or a real bed.

But do you think I've left her hungry? Did she seem discontent?
I'll drop it all if the kitchen is where my time would be better spent.

In the time one day can contain,
Repaying centuries' sleep, there aren't enough hours.

As a plan, this is good. Keep to it, til it's made.
At least for snacks, we others can come to her aid.

I figured a gazebo would be a quaint enough structure for her.
With some lattice around three quarters to make for tasteful cover.
