[Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, a little red sheep with a tophat has likely waddled up to you with an invitation to come to the clinic for a quasi-urgent meeting to talk about the current werewolf situation. There will be refreshments. Newbies are especially encouraged to attend.]

Werewolves 101

Alright, it looks like we have some newbies here, so here’s a brief rundown:

In the mist are shadowy, wolf-like creatures that are highly aggressive and will attack you on sight. They carry a disease called lycanthropy, which is highly contagious and spreads via bites. If you contract this disease, once the sun sets you will physically transform into a monster, yourself.

There is only one known cure right now, and that’s a plant called wolfsbane. If you’ve been infected but haven’t yet changed, you can drink wolfsbane tea to keep the infection from taking. One plant can make enough tea for four people if used prophylactically. But once the disease has taken hold, the victim must consume one entire plant to cure it.

If anyone has any other information about lycanthropy, like how it presents, how it can be treated, or anything that’s effective against it, please speak up so I can write it down.

Wolfsbane

Wolfsbane only grows in the mist, so it’s hard to find and dangerous to acquire. Due to recent events, our wolfsbane supply is getting perilously low. If you or your flock has any, please speak up so I can get a count of how many we have left.

I’m not going to ask you to surrender yours if you don’t want to. I just want to know just how dire our situation is and who to talk to in an emergency.

Mist Trips

There’s been some talk of organizing a trip into the mist to try to acquire more wolfsbane. If you are willing and able to undertake this journey, please raise your hand so we can figure out the logistics and make a plan of attack.

If you don’t want to go into the mist but otherwise have suggestions or magic spells you could offer to make the journey safer, your contributions are welcome here as well.

Navigation

The mist is disorienting and difficult to navigate. Any and all people entering the mist must be in constant, physical contact with a weed and each other in order to avoid getting separated and lost.

Even with a weed helping with the disorientation, the mist is extremely difficult to navigate. If anyone has any suggestions on where to look for wolfsbane, or any idea how to actually find those places, please speak up.

[Leviathan has thrown together some snack options, as well as drinks like apple juice and several varieties of tea. (Mostly herbal and macha. No black teas, sadly.)

As for snacks, he has apple chips, pear chips (variety!), some candied mint and rose petals, rose petal cookies, and apple pie.

And if you happen to be carnivorous, he's got you covered there too with some simple pygmydillo jerky and crispy crickets. The bugs come highly recommended.]

As for how it presents, I went to clear my head after I saw you and the last thing I remember clearly is getting really pissed off at nothing. [a shrug] Stuck out to me because my temper isn't nearly that short.
