WHEN: Day 54 post-ritual (and probably into 55 tbh)

[WE SURE DID SOME THISTLEING DIDN'T WE.

So much has happened we barely had time to clean our fridge]

[ the fridge was maybe slightly still possessed and waiting to complain about not being able to find its lunch, but the vibes when y'all came home were so tired the sigil just bled right off for the time being. ]

[Goes over to the fridge.

Ignores all the blood while opening it.

Grabs a tub of ice cream out of it.

Wipes blood off the tub of ice cream.

Closes the fridge.

Goes and gets a spoon.

Finally, ends up on the couch eating ice cream out of a container that probably still has smudges of blood on the outside.]

[ghost Lupin was pretty chill, but living Lupin is significantly less]

[he stumbles back to Thistle, covered in blood and tissue, and immediately peels his clothing off right at the entrance, not even bothering to dispose of it correctly]

[and then he is beelining to the shower 'cause he ain't contaminating their lovely public bath with all of this]

[Ope there he go.

Odin, sitting on the couch, eats another bite of ice cream as he watches this.

Then he sighs, sets the ice cream down, and goes about picking up the clothes to throw them away. He hasn't showered yet so he can handle a little more mess before he gets clean.]

[Tyr is going to make sure everyone gets cleaned up, take his turn, re-bandage his shoulder and -

Make some of that calming tea Maomao brought over after the bomb ritual because he's sure someone here could use it besides him.

And then he's sitting at the table and putting his head down because he's exhausted]

[ODIN,,,,,]

[. . . Lupin actually takes a very, very long time in the shower. what is he doing in there? who knows!]

[but when he finally exits, properly washed and cleaned, he heads towards the entryway to pick up his clothing. . . only to find that someone else beat him to it]

. . . ah. . .

[he can hear the sound of another chair scraping against the ground as Lupin takes a wordless seat next to him. he's cleaned up now, I promise]

[Cleaning his glasses, clearly.

But by the time Lupin is out Odin is back to eating ice cream again. He's not sitting on the couch this time because Mess but he's sitting on the floor.]

Y'know, Yata was right: ice cream helps everything.

[straight into the shower]

[hot-as-it-will-go shower]

[shower until he can no longer find a single fleck of blood left]

[then shower some more]

[. . . a small laugh, and he squats onto the ground next to Odin]

[. . .]

Mind if I steal a bite?

[Tyr makes a vague noise of greeting, then slowly pushes himself up to sit properly]

Better?

[Lupin has made himself a cup of warm coffee, which he holds between his hands]

. . . mmmm.

[he is not saying "yes" but it's also not a "no."]

The shower helped.

[. . . gentle knocking on the bathroom door]

[EDGELORD CAME HOME WITH THEM, though he doesn't seem to QUITE know what he's doing there. He's probably getting blood on the couch]

[Offers him the spoon wordlessly. He'll wait a few seconds for Lupin to get a bite of ice cream before speaking.]

Two members of Lily saw the god inside me, when I was dead.

[chomp. he is taking that bite happily, savoring the sweet flavor of ice cream on his tongue. mmm. . .]

[at what Odin says next--]

Who?

Two of 'em I don't speak to a lot. Lethe and Ananke?

They both said they'll keep quiet, but they might come by with questions later.

[he drags his cup of tea closer to take a sip of it]

They usually do. Something about getting clean, I guess.

...I'll be out in a minute.

[hesitation]

. . . can I come in?

[he is here for COFFEE]

[and also a shower]

. . . you can go wash off if you want, you know.

[Odin . . . ]

. . . eat some fruit with that, healing doesn't really do much for blood loss.

[doesn't even bother to get dressed after he leaves the shower. he just plops on the couch in his towel]

[slowly pushing the door open and slipping inside, closing it tightly behind him. he stays there though, back pressed against said door, to give Loki privacy]
