[Tonight is another peaceful(?) night in the pasture, and whether your beds have been mercifully upgraded or you're sleeping on stacks of hay or brainless sheep, you're sure to get some good shut eye.

However, all dreams seem far more vivid and lucid than usual. It's like you can reach out and touch them. And you may have some visitors; flockmates, friends, acquaintances, it's like a playground for dreamwalkers tonight.

So whether you have sweet dreams or nightmares, there may be some crossovers happening. Good luck to those with memory loss especially. What will you dream of? Will you just observe others?

Whatever the case, when you wake up, the dreams don't fade away as normal (unless you want them to) and you can recall every detail. Surely this won't be awkward! Sleep well.]

You can feel your tail swishing with agitation already. He chatters at you as you go. ]}

What's the hurry? No nostalgia at all for the ol' stomping grounds? Aw, look over there, it's our initials in a SKULL, carved on a wall! Ooh, I think someone was even using it as target practice. Must have been Ulty, 'cuz I see claw marks!

[oh look, some mysterious ruins! perfect for adventuring in. though, she can't shake the feeling that she's gotten lost. or maybe that the rest of her party's gotten lost? she needs to find them, or to be found by them, or--well, something.]

These are some very nice ruins you've got here, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen them before in my life!

( you stand in a large, wide red room at the start of dusk. instead of being surrounded by tiny sheep, or hay, or anything rustic - there is beauty all around you. marble and plaster have been carefully sculpted the room into high arches and symmetrical designs of suns, moons, and stars. in the center of the room, near the multitude of doors, is a sunken floor in the shape of a circle. various ornate pillows and objects lie there alongside beautiful people, things like flutes and balls of yarn and baskets of flowers in their hands. they speak avidly, many raising glasses of wine.

you stand apart, but you look upon them fondly. it's the end of the day, after all, and everyone has returned home safe. you look down to a sheet of paper secured to a thin wooden board.

there are no words. only shapes and symbols. you know each one signifies someone's name, and you check off if they've visited a client or not. your name is at the top. or, it's supposed to be. it's the only one that seems like it's a garbled mess, so you know it's yours, somehow. you check yours too.

but a loud, insistent knocking and a belligerent, inebriated voice filters in through the door. )

Open up, ya... ya den o'whores! Fuckin'... stole my money!

( you frown. you know that voice; it's one of the nobles on the council. everyone quiets. )

That sounds...pretty good, actually! Can't say I ever wanted to fight other people's wars, even when they're offering good silver to whoever signs up!

[ When you open your eyes, there is nothing but fog. It surrounds you, obscuring anything but the floor a few feet in front of you from view. Heels clacking upon the floor beneath you as you walk through the seemingly endless void of fog, ever so often lights glow within the mist. They flash, pulsating for but a moment, before vanishing. Snatches of various melodies accompany them. And while most peter out, the longer you walk, you realize that a few remain. They are faint, flickering as though they might disappear at any moment, but possess a sort of welcoming warmth.

Will you continue forward down your seemingly endless path? Or will you visit one of four colors?

Orange, light blue, dark blue, yellow?
