Hey. In case you haven't seen it yet, the eye on Death's fountain opened this morning. There's some stuff we should talk about . . .

Yeah. Looks like she's not turning a blind eye anymore, at least for now. If something specific triggered it, though, I got no idea.

I figured we were all too drunk and strung out for anyone to have caused problems . . .

1. I was given more details of what awaits us in death during the drinking game, which are far more relevant now that her eye is open and the dead cannot be retrieved.

To paraphrase: a reliving of all of one's own worst memories; all of the physical pain one has ever felt; the experience of killing one's loved ones repeatedly; the knowledge that they blame you for the act. No sense of time, so the experience feels longer than it should; no suspension of disbelief, so it feels true and inescapable.

I was not the individual who died, nor will I disclose their identity save to say they were not a member of Lily. Perhaps they have shared their experience already and this missive is moot, but I send it regardless. I am worried for us all. Try not to die.


2. The Weed known as Patches has escaped Lily's custody. My apologies; the ability of this place to thwart best-laid plans and security is outstanding. Please keep an eye out for him and take what measures you will; I do not think any of us wish another kidnapping and ritual.
